ABOUT ART

Art Denomme is retired from Cambrian College where he worked as a Computer Network Support Technologist for the College's Employment Options program. He worked out of the Val Caron campus, and was responsible for all aspects of computer and network support at Cambrian's campuses in Val Caron, Espanola and Little Current.

Art graduated from Cambrian's Audiovisual Technology Program in 1975 and was employed with Cambrian College until 2013. Over those years, Art held a number of positions with the college: Job Developer with the Job Connect program, Employment Consultant with the jobsOntario Training program, Employment Consultant with the Futures program, Photography Instructor, Media Production Technologist, and Support Technologist for the Audiovisual Program.

One of Art's passions is researching his "Denomme" family roots. He has spent quite a few years searching out those roots. Based on his research, and input from his many CuZins around North America, he published a 553 page book on his family's genealogy that was printed in early 2005 called "Denomme - 400 years of family". Anyone who knows Art, will also know that his other passion is his "summer car". His current summer car is a 2005 Toytota Celica GT. 2005 was the last year that Toyota made the Celica.

Art is married to Pauline Prévost (his first wife, Denise Chretien passed away in March 2010), has a son Adam Denomme, married to Julie Lemoyne, a grandson Addison and a granddaughter Anabelle. Art lives in Val Caron, Ontario, which is just a few kilometres north of Sudbury.
